I stopped posting on PM because of their crazy 20% fee and poor customer service. So how do you deal with these frustrating Poshmark interactions? I still use the site but it did leave a bad taste in my mouth. While in theory that is great, I really dont have time to keep doing that daily. I see many closets where you know the item was sold on a different site. And then there are others who are all over that platform; they know where related items stand as far as price. I have since had two additional sales that have five star ratings so but I feel that it is irrelevant to Posh. Thanks Stacey! They dont charge any fees at all to sell your stuff! Again, this is exactly why I left Poshmark. As a buyer Im very frustrated now with sellers who post but never provide any detail of the items (when it only takes a second to measure), those who send damaged goods and those who take my money and never ship at all. Im easy to find just look anywhere online for Hillarys of Houston, Im the owner. If I want to buy a designer bag for 25%-50% off, I can either wait for a department store to have a sale or visit an outlet mall. Ive sold 5 things on posh. Which is NOT the amount that was there when I shipped it. It is maniacal. I decided that, if the stain was barely noticeable, it wouldnt matter if I was unable to remove it and I went ahead and purchased the dress. I am so sorry to read this. There is also too much room for miscommunication and understanding. I told him that my ad had clearly stated that it was not brand new and that it was 3/4 full. The thing I like about poshmark is how you dont have to create a paypal or venmo to receive your money. That is how you make it on Poshmark as a seller just dont care who is selling what, and do your own thing and share your stuff only!! I found a brand new one (literally exact same model) at Macys for 40 dollars. Other times, theyre offering all they have. Ive had people tell me they have no time to answer my questions and I found that very shocking considering that as a seller Im always happy to answer questions but to save myself the time and aggravation of digging out an item to answer a question I try to make sure that when I posted my Posh closet I put aside a day or two to get it all done at one time. I cant be blamed if people cant appreciate the fact that when I say new-in-box I actually mean it. Hate the damn things. I had a buyer try to sneak different items into a bundle after we had negotiated. Goodbye to my consideration for Suggested user now for another few months. The ridiculous reason why!? No offer is ever worth blocking a potential customer and low ball offers are NOT a sign of a problem buyer. So it was worth my time investment to do things like measure the bust because sizing varies by brand. I have many new things in my closet that I have never worn or touched as my style has changed over the years. Hi; well I am a guy with closet after closet filled of brand-name clothes. I am bit reluctant on these fees for posh foe just pointing the shipping label (shipping is still paid by buyer or seller). I certainly dont miss the time suck, and Im now making a lot more money on my own site than I ever made on the Poshmark app. I am sincerely hoping that with the recently increased success of the customer service team, that we will be successful in getting our Poshmark back to the way it was meant to be with perhaps some more appropriate commission fees. You will have to either spend a ton in ads or have one heck of a social media following already built if you want to get real traffic. One of the embassador Poshers bought my Burberry rain boots for $50 (a great deal), and later on filed a complaint saying that the boots smelled horrible and that they had stains and blah, blah, blah she even said that she wanted to keep them at no cost even though I asked her to return them for her money back. If you have an unreasonable offer or think it's acceptable to put your offer in the comments section . As a seller, I do not negotiate with and even regularly block lowballers. Offers may be ok in some situations, but I state up front that I price NEW designer items super low and as a result, am unable to accept offers. Lol If its a lowball from just a buyer? While I agree that there are trolls out there who asks questions just to waste someones time, some people ask a number of questions because quite frankly the item descriptions on many Poshmark listings are abysmal.
