Tom Ford is known for serving his collections with a wink, a lot like Marc Jacobs, whose new fragrance we recently discussed. These guys are great!! Its a really exciting take on a fall fragrance, warm and woody, full of spice and earth, sweet but not familiar. Definitely wont order the full-sized. The Tom Ford Bitter Peach Eau de Parfum could be a nice addition to ones fragrance collection but I do not think that it is worth the splurge for me because the smallest bottle of 50 ml retails at $350. It is a close dupe but not quite. Theres also a cardamom note at the top to immediately heat it up. There is a subtle development of the sweet redolence but the Bitter Peach fragrance does preserve to a very large extent its initial and essential odor till the end. I expected, from the description, a burst of ripe peaches and hints of blood orange and patchouliall favorites of mine. from a peach fragrance. I can still smell it a little on a coat I wore a week ago and I definitely notice that I still smell it on myself throughout the day. The bottles are very attractive because of the depth that is so masterfully created by the transparent outer covering and the finely tinctured in orange inner core. I don't find it complex, dark, spicy or interesting like his other fragrances. Does this fit the bill? Its not too sweet and not too warm. But it is bright, assertive, and anything but immature. It definitely has a spiced peach scent with a musky tone to it. Its sweet and syrupy lol great for the cold weather! Quite strong and very unique scent. Its sweet enough to draw you in but scandalous enough to make you wonder if its okay to want it. Perfect for travel in a carry-on bag, now freshen up on the go.
