If you're on the fence, go for it. My biggest qualm is the idea that a company takes the design of another.

They change the logo on the Alpha to capitalize on customers who like the watch, but don't want a blatant/illegal fake. Alphas are made in China, with what I believe are Sea-Gull QC reject movements. with watches, you generally get what you pay for. For one thing, all they really do is take established designs from iconic companies and copy them exactly, and simply slap their own logo on there to make them technically legal.
