It is much better than purchasing a new mattress, no matter how hard you mattress is or lumpy as this topper curves to fit the mattress and you. Because you won't have to count them in order to fall asleep? I was waking up with body aches and head/neck pain frequently.

It's that comfy. Worth the price to me.
