Joe, I think the issue is that in ableton, the control surface preference needs to say MAschine Mk2 Virtual Input for the input and Maschine MK2 Virtual Output for Output. If you dont see the Mackie Control template, press the Edit button. I have Ableton 9 if that makes a difference, and under control surfaces, I have MackieControl but for input, I only see Maschine Controller Mk2.
