I bought the jumbo plateau board a few years ago. This is an essential tool for a serious puzzler! When I looked at the dimensions of my puzzles, I realized some will fit but some will not. It works just great for that purpose, as well as for a puzzle. I love jigsaw puzzles & putting them together, it manages to get the whole family involved.

The only two quibbles would be that the drawers are uneven so that they only fit in certain slots (very minor) and I wish it were an inch longer so that a 36"""" puzzle would fit! My husbands coworker is purchasing one. I was able to sort colors, border pieces, and use the wonderful drawers. It had 2 sides (ledge) on it & she was disappointed. This way I can lay a large piece of cardboard over it to keep the puzzle safe from my cats. I can move it to which ever spot I want to work in. I like the table but it is very heavy and awkward to move.

I love the drawers! I am a little disappointed that the board is 2"""" too short for a 1000 piece puzzle. Although it is a little awkward because of the size, it was lighter than I thought it would be. I am going to have a carpenter add legs & a door to cover pieces when I am not using it. I can pick it up & move it onto spare bed when I need table space. Keeps puzzle pieces organized and allows you to move puzzles around safely with disturbing your puzzle or losing pieces! I finally broke down and bought this ""puzzle plateau"" so our family could complete a puzzle on the one small table in our house dedicated to that purpose. We glued 2 yardsticks on to it so pieces wouldn't fall on floor. They would pack all the pieces into the drawers at night so our cats couldn't bat them around while they slept! When my board arrived it was damp on the outside . It came completely assembled a ready to go. When I was a kid my mother got us started when dad had a business trip. Also, I don't know if the jumbo would fit puzzles bigger than 1,000 pieces or not.

It's awesome! One of the drawers came damaged with staples splitting the wood and protruding from the frame. I like that this puzzle storage system doesn't have the two edge pieces.

The puzzle plateau is a good idea, but seemed overpriced for what you get. I guess it is my fault for not paying attention to the dimensions, but just assumed it would fit all standard size 1000 piece puzzles. Mom is also a puzzler but kept loosing pieces while working on her card table so I bought her one last year. A virtually indestructible place to keep your working puzzle. It is so well made. I got this for my husband as a gift. Wood tones may vary. I like sort the pieces when I start a puzzle. I've used mine for years and given it to several friends. It also keeps my sister entertained looking for specific colors or shapes for me. I can spread the pieces out because the surfaces inside the drawers are wide, so it's easier to see the pieces at a glance. It looked fine and was not totally water soaked. Works greatallows portability without disturbing the puzzle. I like the drawers. Real good for large puzzles that would normally take up the dining room table for awhile..same tableportable.

Good design for taking puzzle off. Received my first as a gift and now I never do a puzzle without it. The delivery person asked that I check to make sure the board was not damaged from weather. The board is easily moved if you want to take the puzzle to a different room or to clear it out of the way without recking your work. But I like the design, not the warping. I volunteer at a cancer treatment center. It can be moved out of the way when I need the space or the cats visit. Love the drawers. I also purchased the larger cardboard version for larger puzzles. The 4 drawers makes it easy to organize pieces and keep everything neat. Fortunate enough to retire to a second home so now I need one for this house as well. Sorting and storage . I am an avid puzzler. I just wanted to warn those who may be purchasing this as a gift to have it shipped elsewhere if it's for a member of your household. I no longer need to disassemble my unfinished puzzles when friends come over. Sealed with lacquer finish to prevent warping. I highly recommend this item. I purchased this board several months ago and LOVE it!!! I found a CHEAP Lazy Susan at a thrift store. I use the drawers to sort colors.

Puzzle board is very heavy to move for my Mom. All Rights Reserved. Use it again and again for all of your puzzles in progress. A lot of good memories! And if I need to move my unfinished puzzle, I can easily move it to another location. But it's great and I use it all the time. Only complaint is there should be an edge piece on all four sides, not just two sides.
