For a special Wedding Anniversary gift I bought a $1400.00 white gold ring.

I was sent a shipping notification which had no tracking information. I bought a Claddagh ring from the Glencara Jewellery company based in Galway Ireland.

We have an Australian mailbox so return postage would cost $3-4.We have emailed you return instructions.

Glencara took it upon themselves to resend the order without even being asked. 6 weeks later it turned up today and the F****** thing was broke!!! I will probably have to pay for the long distance calls too. I have sent them 2 separate messages asking were my order is and still have received no word back from them. I am also glad that I used a credit card.

It is now the 19th and still nothing. I wish I had done my research before buying from them. On purpose I left a open but idle bank account with less than $800 that was supposed to be for my kids if they needed it.

Of course, if it was lost or damaged in transit, I would be out of luck. To which I let fed ex know the said company is livid that glencara has misled consumers that their shipping address is a glencara address I cannot imagine what federal express will do to them as I sent the correct representatives from fed ex screenshots that glencara has and are willingly and arrogantly using as a glencara business address do not place an order with them!! The ring l ordered was guaranteed to be delivered within ten days as l stressed l needed it for a special occasion.

They could have done nothing, which is totally acceptable, though by losing some profit now Glencara has created A Lifetime Customer. Can not fault the products or service.

This was a gift intended for someone special and the only thing this company has done so far with any promptness is take my money. I have now rang many times only to get the same automated message, that they cannot take the call as it is outside their business hours of 8am to 4pm. I ordered the ring last Thursday, December 12th and received an email to say it was shipped at 6.30am on Friday morning, the email advised that I would receive the ring either Saturday or Monday to which I havent received, I called their number and emailed numerous times and have heard nothing back. Meanwhile, the United States post office requires you to list the value on the form. They still havent sent anything and now we have passed the date where I can escalate the dispute with Pay Pal and we are back to Glencara not answering emails or phone calls. Having seen previous reviews there are many reviews which accuse the company as being fraudulent. Buyer beware of this poorly managed company.

I finally received a email stating that they are sorry it is not done. I purchased a claddaugh ring for my son for a communion gift, when it came in a size too small I sent it back for a larger size to one of the addresses recommended, I chose the Ireland address for I thought my ring would be returned sooner (it wanted me to send to NY then they would send to Ireland on my behalf then I would get my exchange). As the 3-7 day time period passed, I contacted GLENCARA vis the customer service number provided,1 866-567-7451 at which point the call was answered by a male with a heavy Irish accent advising they were backed-up in responding to emails and that customers shopuld leave an email prefaced with URGENT advising of their complaint.

After 10 days and more phone calls I emailed again an Urgent message only to get yet another automated response. This site should be shut down. This is the way business is supposed to be done Glencara, learn a lesson. Ring turned up about I0 days later.

I failed to check reviews on these folks so its my own fault. I paid by Mastercard and at this time I am waiting to see what they can do for me. I ordered a ring from this company over 2 years ago. I rate this company zero stars but a rating has to be given and they should be put out of business.

I understand shipping and quality issues, but the number of times I was forced to reach out for updates (instead of them just being provided) and the amount of time it takes them to respond (longer than the 24 hours their site promised) just makes them not worth buying from.

If youve been subjected to the same not receiving merchandise from glencara and ludicrous emails from a katie email myself and let me help you seek justice that or take legal action! Excellent communication. They are incredibly slow to return emails and it is usually just the auto responder that I get and not a real person.

They told me that what I ordered was now out of stock, but they could re-send it when it was back in stock around Aug 28/29. One address is nothing more than an actual federal express location!! Still waiting and no response from them . Then Glencara claims that they never got their items back so they dont have to return payments.
