It reminds me of German bread. I didn't like the coffee at all though, this i rather drink around the corner at Copenhagen coffee lab! Papo-Seco is the new and improved name of a local chain of bakeries thats been in business since 1925. We got the French toast, pancakes, and side of fruit.

It's rich and chocolatey and just the right amount of sweet (just a little bit sweeter than the delicious hot chocolate). It offers free wi-fi, and if you get hungry it serves light meals (salads, soups, wraps and desserts). But what a Brunch, is a small comfy place where you will like to hang out even by yourself doing some work by yourself or with friends. There are bowls of granola topped with fresh fruit and seeds for the first meal of the day, the soup of the day for lunch, and quinoa or brown rice salads, toasted sandwiches and paninis for any hour of the day.

Very quick service as well and friendly staff. This is a historic cafe in Praca da Figueira where the king used to have his coffee and pastel de nata. The cappuccino had a good taste, the foam was also good but the air bubbles were a little too big (7.8/10). Location 5/5 If the interior dcor of this bakery feels Scandinavian, that might be the influence of the founder and owner, who lived in Sweden for a few years. I really loved it. Cool area you have to check out. The first one is at Lx Factory, and the second in Chiado. We ordered the matcha pancakes, the cacao toast with peanut butter and banana, a slice of banana bread, two coffees and two ginger shots (these were quite strong, but really good). Just gorgeous . Irresistible we could be here all day mentioning adjectives that could best describe pastel de nata, but only once you have tried a freshly baked Portuguese custard tart youd truly know what were talking about!. I definitely suggest the salty pancakes with a flat white. Sofia Landeau delighted the customers of a now-closed caf in Chiado with her chocolate cake so much, that she felt the need to create her own brand and open two stores. We only ordered one main course as we wanted the grilled octopus and it was delicious. Literally blah. Nice cafe to have breakfast or brunch. Rock n roll-themed chain with a high-energy vibe serving burgers & American classics. Stopped here for a late lunch today. Coffee, tea, juice, toast, fruit and eggs can also be lunch or an afternoon snack, and that is exactly what this caf, hidden between the neighborhoods of So Bento and Santos, offers first thing in the morning and until 4pm (5pm on weekends).

Both the food and the restaurant was so pretty! This coffee shop, just around the corner from Praa das Flores, is meant to be a lab dedicated to the various ways of preparing and serving coffee, while the customer sits reading, studying, at the computer using the free wi-fi, or simply relaxing. Sweet, responsive and kind. We came to the cafe at ~10:30am and it was already overcrowded and almost all tables were occupied. They coat the top in a a thin layer of sugar that caramelizes to perfection. A tad expensive, but its really good. Go for a bottle or two of the orange wines to share with some people you love.

There are shops to get clothes and other goods at as well as a food court with anything you want. The bread is bad. Both were more sweet than flavorful. Opens every day.

However, it stands out for its coffee -- cappuccino, macchiato and espresso, prepared with exclusive blends, in a white La Marzocco machine, which can be seen by the entrance. There are different menus for each meal of the day -- one until noon, another from noon to 5 pm, and another from 5 pm until closing, at midnight.
