And the product bundle has been expanded, with a modification frame and two filters included as part of the base product bundle. The Panel Mini features a frosted diffusion plate in front of its 60 LEDs, and it is not removable. I lit up a strip of four townhomes with 4 of these. There was a problem. The Panel Mini seems to do a good job of calculating the battery time depending on your output. Have been traveling with these for a couple of years, have left the fill flash collecting dust. Each of these uses name-brand LEE filter materials from the company's LED-specific Zircon line. Light includes 1/4"-20 Female connection on the bottom. And a new mode accessed with a long press of both buttons at once allows a much narrower 1-10% brightness range with a more precise 1% step size, rather than the full range in 10% steps as is the default. The red eye sensor and the optical sensor features can also be turned on and off via the app.
Im also just really glad to see that its rechargeable in general because some smaller lights like this do run off of batteries, too. You see, the original Lume Cube and Lume Cube Air are charged via micro USB, while the Lume Cube 2.0 is USB-C. I bet these would be pretty good for macro shots, with it mounted on an arm where it could get really close to a bug or flower. You can select different brightness settings through the app, 1%-100%. And although this is unlikely to make your dedicated juice boxes obsolete, the fact you can use its 5V output in an emergency only adds to this little lights functionality and appeal. Their equipment is all but the standard for anyone serious about YouTube. The Lume Cube 2's new lens is also less prone to hot spots, and has a wider 80-degree coverage, up from its predecessor's 60-degree beam angle. What the eye sees and what your sensor sees can vary drastically, though both lights have a relatively high CRI rating for what its worth. In order to produce a soft light, the diameter of the light must be approximately the same as its distance to the subject. Adding a light source will only help the ZV-1 lock onto you with its ridiculous auto focus and also provide the best picture overall.
How much light can something this small and battery powered really output? BEFORE you expose the Lume Cube to water, ensure the screw cap is tightened completely. With the suction cup mount accessory you can easily stick this to the back of your laptop lid and improve your Zoom video. A jog dial quickly changes the output and temperature.
