Hi Cornelia, I could never imagine we could make our own homemade embossing paste!

I didn't think I could join in this week's MIM, but thanks to you, I mixed up a batch of paste and made a card to enter :), Beautiful card Thanks for the paste recipe.. Have a great weekend. Ive always liked flat or matte paints but didnt expect this to look like I had used an embossing folder. Thanks for this!

The next project is a masterboard, an A4 sheet of card painted and stamped and then stencilled with Mini Layered Circles which I shall use for cards, bookmarks, scrapbooking: After stamping I tinted some texture paste blue and added through the Mini Layered Circles then left to dry. Post a picture of your creations - I'd love to see them! I had a ton of it from a recent wall repair.

Joint compound will wash right out of clothes or brush right off of them when it's dry, so I would expect it to do the same on a card - no fun.

This has a beautiful sparkle to it and would be a fantastic texture to use for snowflakes on Winter cards.

I didnt understand it and I certainly didnt know what the heck I could do with it in a DIY project.

I added a little extra flour to mine, but it worked great! 1/2 cup baking soda for the texture paste because otherwise it will run under the edges of your stencil.

Unfortunately it takes a huge amount of glitter as the flakes just get coated in the white paint and lose their shimmer. Well aren't you just too darn clever! Just wanted to ask - your recipe states 1/4 cup baking soda, but in the video, it says 1/2 cup - which do you use? Your card looks really great :).
