It's alright if you want rough estimates and i don't expect it to be perfectly accurate since this technology at this price point isn't going to be pin point however it's off so much that sometimes it can't be trusted even for a rough estimate, it's about 70% accurate and perhaps a stronger Laster and slightly better sensor for feedback might help but as of now it's not something I'd recommend to anyone, other than that it's pretty responsive and actually pretty cool if you wanted to meausre a run for like maybe a copper line or something and you didn't want to buy a full 100 feet you could quickly get a measurement and add about five feet for some play when you goto do something like pre cut the roll etc.
