She listened to all my wants and needs and helped me find the wedding perfect dress and accessories. Overall, I had a good experience. Anyone who is searching for their dream dress must come here and ask for Mariam!! But with good sales people, an enormous selection, and positive working experience its not a big deal to harp on logistics. I 100000% recommend going here even if it is to just look but I promise you will walk out with the dress of your dreams!!! I spend my cocktail hour trying to fix the problem. Well I didnt try it on at home after this but on the wedding day I was miserable in the dress. Thank you for taking the time to review Castle Couture. She made sure my dress fitted me like a glove. When my dress came in, it fit me almost perfectly and very minimal alterations needed to be made. If you have money to spend please dont go here. I told her what I was interested in & showed her pictures (even though she didn't think to ask) and she kept running downstairs and bringing back one dress at a time. es. SPECIALTY DEPARTMENTS I really enjoyed my dress shopping experience but it was my alterations that did not fit my expectations and in fact the dress was my biggest issue on my wedding day because of the alterations. In the 45 minute appointment, they brought probably 6 dresses for me to look at. She found my dream dress and it was the first dress we put on! She took the time to listen to what I wanted, and was able to find me my dream dress at my first appointment. We waited a few more minutes and finally the consultant showed back up with another dress to try on. Most especially- for no customer service gesture for the difficulty and stress caused by their repeated errors. On the other hand be careful who you get as a seamstress. the manager, Colleen, was extremely helpful and sweet and made my experience much better. The quality of many of the dresses under the 2,000 range were not what I was expecting and looked very cheap. She was so sweet and listened to my vision of what i wanted to look like and made great selections. They are able to cater everything to the bride including budget. She made me feel extremely comfortable which is very rare for myself to say. On my wedding day, there was a big HOLE in the back of my dress, the straps of my gown were frayed, and the length at the bottom of the gown was uneven (something Id asked my seamstress to fix at my FIRST fitting that she continued to forget about.) She fit my gown perfectly and knew what to add/take away without me having to ask or bring it up. She was super friendly and accommodating and helped me find my DREAM DRESS on the very first appointment. From the beginning, through alterations with Ellen (who was amazing!!!! My bridal consultant was Sierra and she was hands down one of the best bridal consultants I had! HIGHLY recommend this place and can't say enough wonderful things about their staff. That was not explained to us until AFTER we had my first fitting! Every time I went she never finish the work she said she would have done. On my third and what was supposed to be my last fitting, I had dropped weight and the dress was so lose on me and without any issues she promised to make sure it fit on my wedding day and scheduled a new pick up date for me. I had an excellent experience with my consultant Angela B . At my final appt. Many of the reviews say they segregate you or tell you they only have 3 dresses for you to try on. It didn't stop there - the seamstress did not listen to me. I tried calling to speak with Colleen midday Sunday, she left a message at almost closing time but when I tried to call back before closing, there was no response. My consultant Jamie was amazing super nice understood exactly what i wanted she made it so easy on me and my party. I was feeling hopeless dress shopping like every dress looked the same, and then I got to Castle Couture. The very last dress I tried on was the one I said "YES" to. the dress has been in their hands since the middle of January. Once I got to my fitting, they completed changed their tune and said I had no time left. I was so upset after this appointment and thought I would never find a dress I even remotely liked. After contacting Castle Couture and driving from Brooklyn to show them the dress, I was told that if I bought a car and went out and crashed it would it be the car dealers fault. Castle couture provided a beautiful lace mask for the bride to wear. My consultant Julia was so sweet and right on point with the dresses pulled. s that fits who you are as a person AND BOY SHE WASN'T KIDDING. With that being said, I ended up saying YES to a dress I didnt think I would ever buy. t dresses that complimented everything I was going for. I planned on going to another store in June to give myself 3 dress store options. Also trying on the pieces with my actual dress and veil during my fittings was such a game changer. I am now stuck with a long sleeve dress that I can never wear because it is to hot in August to wear a long sleeve dress and have to forcefully buy another dress elsewhere because they wont let me exchange my dress to a short sleeve, off the shoulder, or anything else weather appropriate. Dont know what good that will do since my wedding is over and all I remember about that day was how uncomfortable I was because my dress kept falling apart. I didn't know what to do so after waiting 5 minutes, I put my clothes back on and sat down. I ended up scheduling two appointments and found my dress the second time! Alterations are pretty expensive here, but I went with them thinking that since its within such a large store, they'd know how to do these the best. After purchasing the dress, I also decided to have my alterations done through the freelancers that work with CC. I also purchased my headpiece at castle couture which matched the dress perfectly. She didn't ask any follow up questions, didn't ask to see pictures, and didn't really seem to care about what I was looking for. They have a wide variety of styles and sizes and the service was a 10/10. lled an Eve of Milady dress as my last dress, and I WAS IN LOVE! When someone offers you a gift that you have to pay for - that's never a good sign. 5 total fittings and they were all because the seamstress made mistakes each time (I did not change size, shoes, etc). /5 stars because at times during alterations they are a bit disorganized and you do kinda get a factory wedding dress shop vibe. I said yes to the dress! While we were staring at a wall for 2 hours in a hallway, one bride and 2 other ladies were brought back before us who arrived after us. Their fitting rooms are tiny & dirty, the stylists don't even help you with the dresses and the space has no privacy whatsoever. SERVICES OFFERED I cried for the 3rd dress that I put on and decided on that one. While I did have one slight hiccup with my veil (we had ordered ivory but when it came in & we put the veil against the dress the coloring was all wrong), Colleen worked with us to arrive at an equitable solution and I ended up loving a new veil I had chosen instead!
